Let Wall Street Go For Now...
Today, while something happened that was thought impossible by most Americans…Wall Street went South again. Get out…get out…get out of the stock market. It is too toxic at this time to trust anyone there. Just get out.
People allow themselves to be driven by what they are told and I say lead yourself out of this mess. Not everyone is broke, some got out of the stock market long ago. Not everyone is giving up. Not everyone is a crook.
America is the greatest country on earth, because we as a people are willing to do the hard work it takes to accomplish great things. Forget the frills of yachts, jet airplanes, and the McMansions of the “fake economy” that captured headlines for the last decade…let’s get back to reality by putting our money where it really works…invest in a small business. Let people know you are looking to invest a small amount of money and “partner” with a Doer who will actually operate the business. Be a bank for someone with a great idea.
You will feel the excitement of owning a race horse. You will experience the thrill of backing a venture to see if it can sprout wings. Don’t be in a hurry…this will take time and effort. Make the person you invest money in give you written updates on the spending. Offer expertise you have, not nagging questions about where the profits are, they will come later. If you have no expertise, make the working partner get outside help. Email me or someone with the talent to keep checks on the spending.
If you want to put this country back on track heading North and not South, then either be a working partner in a venture or be a money partner in something that could grow and give you more than money back…it can make you feel alive and get you involved in fixing the country.
Remember these three rules for investing with a working partner…the investment is for inventory or working capital, not for the working partner’s salary, the money is not to purchase a new vehicle for the working partner, and the money has strings including reports that allow you to see that the working partner is actually on track and not just wasting the investment you are making.
Play nice together, save America, and make some money.

Small Business built this country, it only makes sense that Small Business will rebuild and fix the country. It’s strange to realize that the “job security” that long-time employees of huge firms believed they had has now vanished…it is up to the Entrepreneurs, Innovators, and Hard-Working Thinkers to get us back on track. I pray that President Obama will do something to facilitate this shift…
