IBM said it best...THINK.

I used to love when I had to spend hours on a plane and then drive another couple of hours to get to a meeting. Because that was “free” time. Time for me to think. Time to go over the things that would be discussed at the upcoming meeting, the issues that lawyers or bankers or owners would focus on and expect my reply.

We have talked before about my concept called “Flying the Ride” which was taught to me in flight school where you use quiet time to go over any situation and allow yourself the opportunity to come up with answers before the questions are even asked.

Practicing every step of a presentation or proposal you plan to pitch is essential for success. Use that free time to your advantage. Use that time to THINK. Take advantage of every moment you can. Prepare for every possibility you can imagine, for whatever someone may throw at you.

Fly the Ride.
